Metropoli Fund at the 69th Venice International Film Festival

The Venice Film Festival is famous not only for its competitive program, but for various parties as well. Every day in all corners of the city there were events gathering society people. The evening of August 30 saw presentation of the project Cinemarathon Panorama of Italian TV arranged by Metropoli Fund.

The guests invited to Palazzo Contarini included RAI-Cinema President Franco Scaglia, Moroccan Princesses Fatima and Siggi Unruh, founder and director of MyMovies Company Gianluca Guzzo, renowned figures of Italian culture: film producer Adriana Kesa, actor Giuliano Gemma and director Kamkari Fariborz. Besides, the soiree was attended by business leaders both from Italy and Russia.

During the gala supper, Director General of Panorama TV Igor Danilov presented the new project Cinemarathon of Italian Cinema aimed at presenting the contemporary Italian cinema to the Russian audience. Under this project, a festival of contemporary Italian cinema will take place in Saint Petersburg at the end of November.

However, the soiree was not confined to new partnerships and introductions. Guests were offered a performance by Comedia del Arte theatre, while admirers of classic music enjoyed the program of string quarter.
