Old New Year in Florence January 12-14, 2011

Fund’s guests visited the graphic art exhibition at Palazzo Strozzi. It holds 70 works by the great portrait painter Agnolo di Cosimo di Mariano, more known by the name of Bronzino. It was the first large-scale exhibition of the master, exhibits were collected from the largest museums worldwide. One should thoroughly study the history of Florence in order to understand Bronzino's works (he was the favourite court artist of Grand Duke Cosimo I Medici).
