The fashion of all things Russian is gracefully walking across Italy thanks to Russian cultural and art figures. The Christmas Ball organized by Metropoli Fund took place for the first time in Milan on January 7, 2010. This beautiful event, which awoke an echo in the hearts of Italians and Russians, has laid a new unusual tradition – to celebrate the Orthodox Christmas in the European fashion capital, which now has full right to claim the name of the capital of Russian Christmas Ball in Italy.

The ball venue was the splendid Palazzo Serbelloni located in the very heart of Milan. The Christmas Ball followed the best traditions of the spending palazzo. The soiree presenters, the charming ex Miss Italy Silvia Ceccon and her fascinating co-presenter Davide Fiore were smiling and effervescent. Musicians of the famous Milan Cantelli orchestra performed the best works out of their repertoire. The guests – representatives from Milan mayor’s office, Consulate of the Russian Federation, figures of art, businessmen, representatives of fashion and tourist industry – danced to the sounds of waltz.
