The Federal Tourism Agency of Russian Federation carried out on November 21 the official inauguration ceremony of National tourist office of VISIT RUSSIA in Rome.

The ceremony took place with the participation of the Minister of Culture of Russian Federation, Vladimir Medinsky, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Italy, Sergey Razov, the Director of National agency on tourism of Italy, Francesco Palumbo, and other officials.

Mission of the Italian representation is the formation of positive image of Russia on the international scene, and it is conformable to ACEB Association tasks - promoting of knowledge about Russian cities. ACEB Association has presented the tourist "Byzantine itineraries" developed by specialists of Association in the cities that are storing the heritage of Byzantium. It is possible to get acquainted with Byzantine heritage through the Mubyz mobile application that opens the augmented reality - multimedia objects in 3D format which is available to everyone.
